I’m still going HH. The shackle flip has so many cons to it and puts so much extra stress on the leaves I’d never want to run one. I just want to see more people with regular set ups like ours running one to see real world droop.

Although I’m rethinking all the rear end stuff in the first place. I may just go B110 and save the rest of the money for other stuff, like a prinsu and a fridge.

Your wants/needs are definitely different than mine. I'm not into the overlanding camping thing. Fridges and prinsu is something I'll never consider.

I'l try to get the convo stairgod and I were having on this topic. It was thru FB messenger though.

For me it’s just cost/benefit analysis. Like is spending $1400 worth it to have a droopy ass, when I could spend $200 on B110 and have a slightly saggy ass? I was real excited about it the other night, but now I’m rethinking it.

There are/were many factory cars and trucks in the past with the shackles flipped. The biggest deal is getting everything set up correctly that's where you run into trouble if things aren't set up right.

What would be $1400 and a droopy ass?

I hear ya. I'm tired of the riding position on mine. Cafe racer styling doesn't lend itself to longer trips. Neither does my belly :anonymous:

Archive garage relocate ($300+$500 install), $350 hammer hangers, and some shocks. Cheapest I found were 14” bilstein 5150 for $200 a pair.

Hardtails even with a sprung seat suck too. Rode mine from NC to Daytona for bike week and I couldn't feel my ass or back for a month!
