... And then, we reached Red Pass, the highest point between Titanothere and Titus Canyons.
We understandably ran into a bit of a traffic jam here - a couple in a Jeep enjoying the view
in both directions; three trucks in front of us, taking the turn slow (for reasons we'll get into shortly).

Can't say I blame anyone for slowing down or stopping here. It was amazing...

It totally has. That and switching to a much higher paying job. My fiance is legitimately the reason my truck went from mild 3" lift to locked armoured and 35s in less than a year. I just like to whine cause I work 4 on 3 off and it's hard to stay out of the garage

HAHA .. my wife is why I don't have 35s and front locker among many other things I want for the truck. Just did a full front suspension upgrade because I broke it. She wasn't happy.

Reckon I’m lucky, my wife doesn’t care about what I spend on my “hobbies” as she calls them. She’s into camping too which is really what it’s all about for us, the truck just makes more places accessible.

what are you guys running for solar? I would like something like this, where I will run a separate dual battery in the bed, in its own box, with the solar charging it. I dont have plans to link it to the front battery yet. I would like to run bed lighting from the second battery, and I would like to power my fridge (future purchase, Doemtic CFX50).

    Thoughts?

Did that for a year. Could run my fridge in peak sunlight. Now both batteries are attached. When parked in decent sun my batteries will be at 14.6v. Works well, and I don’t have to worry about my fridge turning off and food spoiling.

I think I have read his writeups on the solar panels. His build thread is a mess right now though

I have this dual battery set-up because I wanted DC-DC charging ability and I wanted it to be portable/removable.

Very clean and simple install also extremely expandable.

I will be adding solar as a plug and play option maybe this year.

you need to remove the "rear seat" completely. They dont stick out. They bolt flush to the rear cab. That gold is sound deadening material, which was a must for me.
