Tractor supply has aluminum inside the bed boxes or go like what I have waiting, a small Rigid job box.

Side note: gas cans, battery, and inside a waterproof container sounds like a bomb to me.

Wow... i’d Love to know the history of how a food like that even came to be... aka, i’d Like to know how some dumbass decided to take a perfectly good cut of white fish, soak it for days, poison it, soak it again, then think ‘hey, I bet I can still eat that’

It's how they preserved it before refrigeration. From what I understand they would bury it too.

Oh, I get why they do it now. Now, we know that it preserves the meat and how the process works. Go back a couple hundred years though, who thought up these processes? Burying meat or salt curing it for preservation is an easy, one step process. This one is fairly involved and requires adding a chemical to your food that could kill you.

Hey who thought of letting fruit decay and ferment? If I had to guess I'd say it was a mixture of an accident and trial and error.

Lots of things happened this way, I wonder if the first drunk person was forced to eat/drink the stuff, or was it some one trying to survive.

Man, some people are brave with food. I, myself, am not.

I went to China for 3 weeks for work and it was out in the middle of nowhere. I lived off of Pizza Hut and a $15 jar of JIF lite chunky peanut butter (hardly my preferred brand / type) purchased in the international section of the grocery store (yay for imports) and bread taken from the breakfast buffet. After inadvertently eating donkey, I was all set. They were trying to get me to eat chicken feet and duck heads and whatnot. I understand culturally people eat different foods, and maybe ultimately I would have liked it, but I could not bring myself to try.

In a moment of stupidity I ordered a salad. Talk about a fail open valve situation.

With that said the 65 full gets HEAVY... and the Rtic's are supposed to be slightly bigger on the inside.

Just keep your first day or 2s beer and food in the soft cooler, those are supposed to be pretty good...

Speaking of which i might need to hop on this sale and pick one of the soft ones up for day trips where the Yeti 65 is too big

Just a head up to everyone one the coolers i have 2 rtic 65s 1 orca 45 and an orca 20. For day-2day long trips in the boat or truck for two people the 20 is more than enough and actually movable. The 45 is great for about a weeks worth of pershishables and some drinks for two. The 65 is a beast and while its great for the boat it almost is too big for the truck it’s way to heavy when loaded up to be moving all around so if you plan on moving it in and out ect the 45 might be your bestbet great coolers though!
