I’ve had the Hankooks in 33” flavor on a third gen 4Runner and in 35” on my Tacoma. They flat out work great. If I was still driving to the trailhead then I would have them in 37” flavor on the Tacoma now

 

I like to try new things. That way when people ask dumbass questions I can drop that real world experience on them.

Figured I’d be productive while the truck is immobile. Changed my oil since my skids are down.

Repainted my sliders and front bumper.




Cleaned up my bedside cut a little. Painted along with some white touch up paint. Then installed this rubber trim. I ran a small bead of silicone inside it to help hold it in place and keep water out. Looks much nicer now.


Went ahead and pulled my flares off in preparation for fender carnage.

 

I thought my sliders wouldn't get used much....Now I'm worried

Welded the legs on and was in a hurry. Welds look absolutely horrible. Had my buddy weld the plates on, they aren't the right angle and some are not straight.


Waiting for summer to redo them and repaint, paint I put on them is to light

 

No time like the present.

 

Diffs are in. Not in like they arrived, but in, like, INstalled.

Just need to button up all the stuff I had to take apart for the job, bleed the brakes, and fill the diffs tomorrow.
