This, also most people who own Tacomas are regular folks who own stock trucks and never do anything other than drive them. Not many Taco owners have even heard of TW.

The Jeep Wave doesn’t have any prerequisites. Wranglers of all gens, stock and highly modded wave to each other.

Prior to my Pro I had a ‘12 JKU mt. Not a single mechanical problem in four years of ownership; no howling diff. That rust though.

    Support the wave!

As a kid growing up in the 70s, my dad had a stingray corvette with T tops. We would always get waves from other corvette owner's.

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
    Have you tried waving first?

I have a little Tao Tao that I’ll occasionally ride around town. For shits and giggles I’ll wave at guys on Harley’s, and surprisingly most will wave back.

    Try waving first.

most bikers I know don't wave at other bikers unless they know them. todays motorcycle enthusiasts wave at each other, "hey look at me I'm on a Harley". I wave to people I know.

True man, you can normally tell a real off-roader as many times they have dirt splatter in hard to wash spots and you can see the side panels will normally have some love. Not that some don't go ape on cleaning their ride, but the ones that are constantly washed with not a spec of anything on them and perfect paint gives me the impression they have never been out in dirt. I could be wrong though.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Most JK owners don't wave when we're in the TJ. Especially the 4wheel parts add-on JKs.

And most Tacoma owners I see don't wave. But they're usually going faster than I am because I'm :turtleride:

Jeep owners are typically insecure with their purchase and need acknowledgment from other Jeep owners that hey this really isn't that bad.

Parking next to each other is an accurate statement. That was the first day I had my 2016 after my 2017 got totaled. It seems that modded tacomas definitely normally park near each other. That lot was empty and that guy was there when I left the store.
