Ordered over a week ago and still no signs of shipping from Evans toyota. Hoping it doesn't get cancelled...

I ordered from olathe and received everything in one box about 4 business days later. I live in denver so not far from kansas. Comes in one box with each part in its own box. Looks like a legit kit pulled them out and definitely an upgrade over the stock OR suspension. I plan on installing the kit myself in a month when my schedule dies down so I won't be much help on results unfortunately. Excited to see what people report back as well as what additions are used (icon 1.5 leaf pack, dakars, toytec 1" for trd/baja coil seats, or top spacers)

Dang. My kit from there doesn't ship until the 5th. My dakars have already arrived though.

I may be wrong, but I think you’re gonna have some serious rake with Dakar’s in the back and this kit up front.

The dakars have 1.5" lift unloaded. My truck is always loaded though. I'm planning on having to adjust stuff because of the unknown with this kit. Probably going to get the pro kit spring perches as well.
My plan is to install the fronts and measure and go from there.

I should add that my stock springs are already flat and I use sumosprings for my stock setup to prevent sagging. I need new rear leafs regardless.

1.5” for Dakar’s sounds way off. I had them on my 2nd gen DCLB with ~300lbs of constant load (topper/tools), and got 2.75” after initial install. They settled to just under 2.5”.

I understand every truck is different and I don’t claim to be an expert, but I’ve never heard of Dakar’s netting anywhere under 2”.

They were the old Dakar’s, so most likely closer to the medium.

I just looked at headstrong and they are publishing 2.75” for 2nd gens, 2” for 3rd gens.

I knew the 3rds sat about an 1” higher up front but I didn’t think the rear was any different than the 2nd gens. Guess I was mistaken.

Wow that seems like a great deal. I haven't really done much research into suspension for my 3rd gen, but I wouldn't mind a 2 inch lift at this cost. Can anyone suggest what add-ons I should select for a moderate lift and no sacrifice in ride quality?

    list is growing fast
I have the 95r pack and about 200 pounds constant weight and still have 2+ inches in the rear from the pack. Had to crank way down on the fronts to get it back to factory rake.

The packs both came with + on them, which has I understand it means they both tested slightly higher spring rate than the average. Some come with + and -, so you can put the + on the drivers side to combat taco lean.

Anyways, the pack is solid. Love it. But you might need more up front to level or keep the factory rake.

Read all the past quotes... 1" lift max on a 3rd gen.

Looks like I may have found my lift.

I don’t plan to do a ton of off-roading, just the weekend warrior stuff and deer lease roads.

Hopefully we get some reviews in here soon!

Ahh thanks. Didn't realize that this thread was 14 pages long. So these are actually 2nd gen shocks. Got it.

Good post OP, I saw this great deal and had my finger on the trigger for an upgrade until I realized that it would be overkill for my offroad needs, TRD OR setup is all I need for now.
But I'm still thinking on it...

    Cheers!

Olathe just called me, they wouldn't ship to anywhere but my billing address because the order was over $100. I had to cancel the order. I've had too much crap stolen from off my porch to let FedEx Home drop this while I'm at work.

So, I re-ordered from oempartsworld.com, got it even cheaper ($601 delivered!).

...don't even get me started on how the parts guy from Olathe was trying to tell me that PTR13-35150 is just the front struts.
