Poor ridgeline.

 

I wonder if Nissan is have a lot of incentives? One of my co-workers just got a Titan, pretty kick-ass truck, for less than my Tacoma on incentives...

 

If the Ridgeline didn't look like a minivan with the back cut off...

 

Ridgeline get mentioned in every monthly sales thread quite a bit. Why is that?

And all this in spite of a brutal bashing campaign, even from our 2nd gen bros lol!

I'm seeing way more 3rd gens on the road now, almost as many as 2nd gens.
But the the poor Honda guys are taking it in the chin and I can't help but wonder how much more pain they can endure before they trow in the towel. We'll see what happens when the Ranger makes its entrance in US

 

Any idea what model/options?

 

I do not, but it is a 2017 and bright yellow with grayish lower trim. Extended Cab. Since it is such ugly color, wonder if the dealer couldn't move it or a buyer backer out. I do not work closely with him, but it is in our employee lot.

 

With a 2.3L and a 10 speed tranny I'm not expecting much. Sounds like rushed to production imo.

 

My dad got himself a Ridgeline for retirement. The touring model is fantastic actually, has TONS of features and suits his needs perfectly. His only complaint is the shallow box, and he misses the ride height of trucks. Great mileage on the other hand!

And if there was a swing out tailgate mod for my taco, I'd be all over it.

 

Rushed into production? It's nearly identical to the Global Ranger which its current model has already been released since 2015. The engine and transmission have already been used in other models giving Ford time to tweak it for use here in the states.

 

Was looking between Ridgeline and the Tacoma and went with Tacoma. Ridgeline is nice too though, just wish the Tacoma had the swinging door and extra bed storage.

 

Ridgeline sales go up on the third week of the month to go buy tampons.

 

Because there's a hole in the soul of some people that can only be filled by filling it with ridicule of others. It's a tried and true method for self-betterment.

 

I also think this leaves the door open to put a different engine into special edition models. It also simplifies the build process and increases profit for Ford.

 

4 cylinders are more popular in europe more so than here. I think this will limit their sales big time.

Because we see history repeating itself. It's comical.

 

Non car enthusiasts will hardly notice it's a 4, they will probably just look at a 300 HP number and be happy.
