In 4/2WD he wouldn't have the vibes at least. But yeah caution is wise, I don't have a great track record with that judgement call... At least on dirt.

On the bumper subject, I knew they had heavier material and used a press brake on main components vs welding flat parts together. All though never saw the impact buffers before. Still a cool vid and you can see the pride in there production.

As long as they aren't leaking, new o-rings and fresh lube, I'd re-use em too if I had to.

Cheap spacers and blocks, 33's, poor man upgrades.

I may be mistaken, I think ads LT and non LT coils were same price. Could one run LT for now in case of future LT mods or will the shock not perform too great? Just figure spending that kind of money might as well get LT for future possibilities just not sure if it’ll work, need limiting straps before LT kit? Fill me in here with some insight....

Long travel shocks will not work/ fit in a stock or mid suspension. Long travel only works with long travel..

It's not that bad to replace the fender aprons, I took them off my 01 cab and installed my 02 Dcab. The Fenders line up decent and the hood closes better than it has in years!

The worst part about the Job is/was paying $500ish PER side for the inner fender aprons. Camelback may be cheaper. I didn't and just swapped the parts over.

    No.

the shocks are not interchange able for those applications.

Long travel uses a 2.5x8'' shock usually.

Mid travel is around a 2.5x6'' shock.

Long travel shocks are way too long for stock length control arms, you'd bottom out the shock all the time. Mid travel shocks are too short for LT you'd over extend them and wouldn't be getting full travel from the kit if you strapped it thus making it pointless.

There are no money saving trick for Long travel. Why a lot of people don't have it.

oooff...that does not look fun. Really hope i don't have to do that.

Camelback had them at 380ish a side. But go knows what shipping would be.

you have to cut the whole thing off and then weld the full thing? shit..
