Hi I am new to this forum. I need to replace a wheel bearing in my new to me 2007 toyota tacoma TRD sport. I was hoping to get it done tomorrow or Saturday so I was planning on getting the whole hub assembly from an auto parts store near me. I don't Have a press so wanting to make it as simple as possible. Anything to stay away from? What brand should I go with?

Don't. Buy some from @BamaToy1997 or JerseyBuilt Hubs......they are pre-assembled and just need to bolt on.
The part store quality won't come close to either of the two I mentioned.

Ok thanks. I'm guessing it might take a while to get to me? I'm wanting to replace tomorrow or Saturday before a trip in a couple days.. that's my only problem.. Are there any you could recommend from an auto parts store? Or any to stay away from?

NAPA would be your best bet. Autozone, Oreillys and Advanced are crap.

Any brands you recommend over others? One that makes the whole assembly so I don't have to press anything?

That's the thing. Most places do not sell assembled hubs....just the components.
I know NAPA sells a complete assembly, but it's prerty expensive, if I recall correctly.

Buy from @nj636 and he will hook to up and have the bearings to you in no time.

    Simple bolt on install.

I ordered mine from ebay. $95 each and fast free shipping. I needed them quickly also, so for the price I took a gamble. Good reviews on them from past purchases.

    I'd say around $200.

OEM does not build complete assemblies. It is a bearing replacement only with Toyota.

Funny thing about reviews though. They're mostly from folks who don't know squat about long term quality / reliability and so they give great reviews for fancy packaging and shiny parts. (Neither of which has anything to do with long term quality.) Good luck!

I understand that, long term reliability is in question, but if you need them quickly other than an auto parts store that sells them for double the price it is my only option.
