If you need another,or a 10lb. Or 20 lb,let me know. State law requires them to be hydrotested every 5 years. Replacing with new is cheaper than testing. I have about a dozen in my garage.

I'm working on getting mounts that are designed for hazmat haulers. (Trucks) got 1, want more

This was free. Right in the middle of the green.

    Ours are tested/checked monthly.

    Mine were free to me...

Tested as required......once a year. Monthly would be a huge waste/expense.

Hydrotest is different than routine inspection
And requires sending back to factory. Has nothing to do with charge.....has all to do with condition of cylinder........ State law requires hydro every 5 years for use in commercial or public areas

Well, then I don't know why they're tested monthly. But they are.

Only requirement from Osha is that you have them and they comply with STATE FIRE MARSHAL.

In Kentucky, State FM says the have to be INSPECTED once a year, and tags dated. Must be hydrotested every 5 years.

Some vendors over-sell service contracts where they inspect more frequently. If they are leased, vendor is civilly and/or criminally responsible for inspection/functionality.

Good extinguishers last literally decades if not used.

Hydrotest period is by a safety factor of 5....meaning they should last without service for as long as 25 years.

If you have a certain number of people in the building OSHA may require extinguisher training for key emplyees. Vendors will offer that training

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
    Just as a fun fact
Symplex grinnel in lexington is one of the main hydrotesting facilities on the east coast. If nothing has changed they will test a bottle for around 20$ and put a new label on it

Fesco in Louisville does hydrotesting for US military and a number of manufacturers of fire supression equipment contractors. A former employee of mine is their plant supervisor. Our extinguishers go there for testing. They also test CO2 tanks...
