Funny thing is, either I am a bad researcher or none of this stuff was out there 6 months ago. This technology and the aftermarket business is changing and evolving so fast, it's hard to keep up.

It's so hard to trust so many of them which is why I am sub'd to this thread. Winjet is tight and stands behind their stuff and the member of this forum. I appreciate that a lot and it makes me feel safer.

Yeah, that is why I am either doing winjet or the taillights from mesojdm. That package deal had the winjet lights.
That site that did custom headlights is legit though. Did you check it out?

If I was younger and ballin', or entered my truck into show competitions these would be a must have.
As it is, my necks a little red, my hairs white and my collar is blue. I use my truck to haul trash, vacation stuff, beer, my trailer and my ass to work.
These are bad ass though. Just outta my league at those prices. I had it up to 1500.00 LOL

Lol I have a set I like at around 600, which is expensive, but not out of the question. Still more than I want to spend though.

So you did the blacked out heads from OEMassive, and now you have the clear blacked out tails? I bet that looks sweet as hell then.

Yea, but the headlight lens is clear right? Just the components behind it are black. The tails are the same, except you just have red bulb housings in there that throw it off a little. I think that's completely acceptable. I mean, yes, the smoked would hide the red more but then you would be back at your "are they too dark?" dilemma. Not that it matters, unless someone is paying you for the mods, but throw some pics up on the forum and see what the community thinks. Again, not that it matters but maybe you need the sell a little bit. I do things that I questions and others don't see it the same way. Sometimes it's good to step back and look at things differently or with others.

The headlight lens are not clear, they are slightly tinted where as the tail ones are clear. I'll take pics of the tails during the day that really shows what I'm referring too. Here are the headlights on the truck

I am so glad I got them. I was hesitant at first, but they are worth it looks wise. They finish the look of the front end. The oem headlights really bugged me with that bright chrome like look. The cool drl's and signal lights are a bonus.

Damn I need to clean my truck though

Yea, unless my eyes are deceiving me, they are not as tinted as I thought they'd be. Definitely not "smoked" like some films or sprays I've seen. Which to me means they match the tails even more than i thought.

I can see the fence (red arrow), and the lines in the fence through that corner and the fence in there looks the same color as the fence outside of the lens area.

They are not smoked out or super tinted, just enough to darken them so they aren't so shiny.

I bet if you run real fast and look at the fronts, then at the back, then the fronts, then the backs again, you will be really tired, and think they look the same.

I'm certainly not trying to convince you or blow smoke, I'm just sayin there is a lot to be said for any mod. But if you are unhappy nothing will change that.

I'm not much of a runner :) I'll just take pics and compare that way. You're right they could be similar already and I just stared too long at the ass of the truck and made something up lol

Well, and there's always a "do over" and only you would have to answer to yourself for that.

Yea, drive the truck around and takes some pics in different areas of town under different lighting circumstances. You may not even know you love them yet.

How bad was the install and aiming process? The bumper has to come off, right? That would be inconvenient for me with the big bumper I have.
