    Couldn’t bring myself to crack the Bottle Logic yet... I like seeing it in the fridge too much haha!

    Popped this Avery Vanilla Stout instead... Got pretty good reviews on Beer Advocate, but I think it’s just ok myself. Little thin and not getting a lot of vanilla. Maybe it’ll open up as it warms.

    Cant blame you there! I work 6am to 430pm on Union St in town. I know my uncle, who is a lineman in CT works the OT while its available as well

    Another great Fermentation Fridays!

    We started off with a home-brew Belgian Wit. Fantastic beer!

    2nd was Naughty by Nectar from Alvarado Street Brewery. This was tart and slightly sour, but a bit salty.

    3rd was 61 Kilometers, a collab beer between Alvarado Street Brewery and Sante Adarius. Fucking fantastic!

    4th was Single Cone from Alvarado Street Brewery. Very good West Coast IPA. This had modest citrus and floral aromas and flavors with a fair amount of bitterness.

    5th was Loral from Ritual Brewing Company. This was good, but not great. Kinda average. Apparently, my friend who brought it said it was much better and more floral aromatic off of tap. Not so much out of the bottle.

    6th was a 2013 Samichlaus from Castle Brewery Eggenberg. Holy cow! We're talking molasses and chocolate for days yet this was not barrel aged. YUMMY!

    7th was an early release of Blume Dry Hopped with Hibiscus from Los Angeles Ale Works. This will be released next Saturday at the brewery. I've had Blume many times before and love it, but this was the first time drinking this variety. We probably should have drank it before Samichlaus because it seemed pale in comparison. But the color was incredible. The flavor and sourness very good. I'll drink again for sure.

    Finally, we finished up with Spontane Wilde from Logsdon. This is simply a fantastic beer with great yeast and complex flavors.
