We haven’t had a chance to take it out on our own for quite some time, probably almost 4-5 months.

I’ve been debating on hitting the pier because the new yak I ordered isn’t here yet and it’s killing me!

There’s this “new” pier I found that isn’t infested with tourists...it’s a bit of a drive but probably worth it. It used to be a bridge and I’ve been meaning to check it out both from shore and from a little plastic boat.

I’m down! I’ve got a couple fold up pull wagons that’ll get gear where it needs to go. Nothing like those fancy ass pier carts...but they work for Walmart specials.

It looks like there is still a lot of the structure in the middle of the water as well. Probably great at holding some fish.

Mind some house guests? If @Blackout14 ever figures out when he's heading down we may have to make a trip!

If it’s a good fishing weekend...let’s do it. I’ll make the drive in a heartbeat and stay a night or two.

Don’t mind at all! If Joe ever gets his shit together, I can even grab us a place on HHI so we’re even that much closer to the fishies.

I’ll take care of the accommodations if you guys are making the drive. I can probably get us a couple bedroom condo. If more people end up wanting to come down, we can talk about bunking up if nobody is shy.
