Well I KNOW they're not making enough, I could've sold a dozen RTs but I've only even seen TWO on my lot... ever. Tons of Ridgeline customers don't want leather but its almost impossible to find anything <RTL. Like I said there's literally THREE RT models in ANY color in the entire state of CA.

Now rather Honda thinks they'll saturate the market, or doesn't want to take away from current odyssey production (they're selling really well and probably more profitable for Honda), or has access to market data I don't and is limiting production based on that data... all possibilities. There might be a good reason they aren't making enough.

But (3) base models for the largest car market in the US... definitely not enough.

Yeah but then your old one is gone. Keep the old one. Buy a new one.

Well I know the Tacoma will do 30" several times back to back no problems :)

    We'll see about the Ford.

(and yes I know this is NOT how you cross water, I had already tested it out several times before this video to make sure it was safe... then filmed trying to make a big splash)

While I agree with this... You sounds like the official Tacoma Gatekeeper lol.

But you have a long travel first gen AND a 3rd gen so by all means carry on you walk the walk :)

You have to invent ways to conceal them in plain sight then. Use your imagination.

I know the gatekeeper, he’s a douche too. I was ball bustin, but there is some spirit to that- you love the Toyota, or maybe it’s just some utilitarian object and you feel no inspiration to interact with it, be it driving/off roading or modding.

    haha nah I get it.

I actually do have a pretty deep attachment to my Toyotas. My very first car was a 1989 MKIII Turbo Supra, rebuilt that fucker from top to bottom and learned how to work on cars. Then all the way through college and until I was 26 I really only drove sports cars or beaters (lots of BMWs, GTIs, WRX, Legacy GT, but also a Prius and Matrix). I'm 6'4" but always loved SMALL vehicles.

Then I got my first Tacoma... a 2003 White TRD with a shell. Not even exaggerating it changed my life. I was always outdoorsy and the BMW I ditched for the Tacoma had a roof rack and fucked up rear leather from hauling dogs in it all over CA.... but once I had a truck my adventures went into overdrive. I started camping and hiking way more, surfing more, picked up downhill mountain biking, got a kayak and started exploring, got a boat and started fishing, got MORE dogs, explored places I never thought to... and during all of that I connected with some amazing people I now call friends.

Sounds sappy but truly so much of that wouldn't have happened if I hadn't got that Tacoma on a whim. Since then I've ALWAYS had either a Tacoma or 4Runner in my driveway. Seems so silly now to get a flashy BMW, such a waste and kinda embarrassed at how hard I used to try to be cool (despite what they tell you its a major reason anyone buys a bmw).

Sure my first truck could've been a ranger or a frontier... but it wasn't it was a TACOMA and because of that I'll always be an unapologetic fanboy... to a fault.

How many Australian miners can a Ridgeline carry? Clearly that's the new standard.

I will ask him next time I see him . He told me he picked it up from around 30k. It could be complete bull shit or real?? Just seeing sales up made me think there may be be good incentives and besides the color, it is a good looking truck.

He has claws. Fuck that. Keep your distance and talk about his mum. Don’t trade shots...those claws... he’ll shoot in, then roll him up in an anaconda.

They got pretty pissed when I got them wet during a water crossing. I'll use a Ranger next time for sure.
