Hey Matt, are all the '18 tunes for the manual the same? I'm asking because I thought it was a matter of just sending out a tune after it's done. If you found some improvements from my 18 tune can I get a copy?

I've been running the 87 tune but the weather turned very cold this week (-32C) and the roads are ice covered. I guess we can call this cold weather testing. I'll report when the roads clear up.

 

lol ok.. this depends on a few things including your ecu version, but really the main factor is the next release that is scheduled. there is individual attention given to creating your tune file. he will need to create it from your "read file" that you send him. this is generated from pcmflash.exe provided to you by OVT upon purchase.

so, what I'm saying is we've seen he will simply put you in line with everyone else for next release, but you will not be attended to with the current file before then. this is what we've seen, probably due to his extreme work schedule. just speculating. if you can get the hardware first, that is.

Hey 04B10s how is the new 1.03? Better then the test tune Im assuming! Feels like my test tune has reverted back. Probably going to reflash it today.

 

Just an idea....try flashing back to stock and then report back on the difference between stock and the tune you think has reverted...?

It would be an interesting comparison.
