    Hey folks! As mentioned, I'm new to TW and new to owning a Tacoma. I'm former Dakota Sport(1998) and Ram 1500 (2007) owner. I bought the Ram figuring it would be more the truck than the Dak but was totally mislead. The Ram was crap compared to the Dak. The Dak was a beast with the right tires on her. I ended up giving the Dak to my son and bought the Ram. I was so disappointed in the Ram. I couldn't wait to finish paying it off and trading it in- for anything other than another Ram. My wife has owned a few Rav4s. We would drive that on all the long distance rides and during snow storms I was quite impressed with the little ride. Anywho,when we brought it to the stealership for it's oil change, I decided to look the lot over for trucks. A salesman kinda pushed me into test driving a Tundra which also led to me testing out a Tacoma. We were able to take the truck for a ride without the salesman so this allowed me time to take it on a little dirt road run. After that ride my mind was made up and all I wanted was a Tacoma. I didn't end up buying a new one. I just couldn't afford that kind of payment because, well I plan to purchase a new adventure motorcycle this spring.. Anyway. I love offroading. I don't have lots of cash to put into my Tacoma but a little here and there and who knows?! My Tacoma is a silver 2012 TRD Off Road Access cab. I like it, a lot.
