I was browsing Amazon and came across TRD pro grills for 3rd gens at $159.99 shipped. Don’t be fooled by the cover photos. They are showing that so they don’t get shut down I’m sure. I screen shot the customer photos below. Link below.

Alr day a big thread on this. Just bought this grill a few days ago. Should be here feb 9. Reviews are either perfect or broken pieces.

So the cover photo on Amazon says “Toyo” but the one they actually send you says “Toyota”?

 

Caved in and couldn’t find a reason not to buy it. Told myself if I found anything under $200 I’d pull the trigger. I want to say I hate you, but sir thank you
Can’t wait to get it mid February and install it.

Why does it say OYOT?

 

Isn't there a few models out on this such as stick on letters, individual letters, and screw on one piece TACOMA panel ?
I've seen some that have had to paint the side of their letters to match, so I believe there are different types and quality out there, thus different pricing.
IMO the screw on one piece panel is the way to go.

 

Do you have any examples or links to buy the screw on type?

 

I bought mine from moto-vip on Ebay in October of last year, but I don't see he has any more listed.
Seeing whats coming out now with these individual letters and stick on stuff, I'm glad I paid a little more and got the solid bolt in panel.

 

Damn I just bought a new cooler for an upcoming camping trip.

Might have to charge this to the good old credit card.

I ordered mine Jan 29, 2018. After a week, they told me they received mine returned undeliverable. That was Tues (2/6/18), then Wed (2/7/18) they sent me an email asking me what I wanted them to do, either refund or try again. I replied try sending again and I gave them my address again since I am in an apartment, figure maybe they didn't put my apartment number the first time. Last night (2/8/18) early this morning (2/9/18) they send me an email saying they are going to refund my money since they didn't hear from me and to expect it in my account about 3-5 business days. I would of spent $149.99 and this was through Amazon. According to them, they have till 2/14/2018 for delivery. If I do either see a refund or the grill I will go straight thru Amazon for a refund. Just a footnote, when I ordered this product I didn't think it was a China grill because I trusted Amazon for delivery more than ebay. It wasn't until I got the shipping tracking where I saw all the Chinese ports of delivery sites that I figured out that it was being shipped from China. This rant is just for information for others wanting to do the same thing so they are better informed than I was.

 

I ordered mine the 29th as well. Been saying its in china since the 3rd....

Says estimated shipment next week but I dont see it moving.....

 

It looks like they are using the same shipping numbers...
