Ok good to know. Question about the rear bumpers. Do the bumper and swing out have to be ordered together or can one order a bumper that is built to accommodate the swing out and order the swing out at a later date? Also how easy is it to take the swingout on and off if someone would prefer not to run it all the time? And is the hinge on the swingout greasable?

Also not to derail the thread but I finally picked up my sliders I ordered during the Black Friday sale from my local freight terminal and they look awesome. Totally exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to get them painted and bolted on. Slowly but surely I will be covering my truck with Mobtown armor. :)

Sliders ship fully assembled, no welding prior to bolting on? Weight of sliders?

I was just looking at them and the weight is on the website, plus the weight of the filler plates separately too. A very well done website I must say.

Correct, they ship complete and ready to bolt on. Weight can be found on the product page on the website. They vary depending on cab configuration and options.

I did not eat the pizza. It was just the most Chicago thing I could find to take a picture of at the time. Also, what is a beef dip and is portillos in the airport? I’ll be back there next weekend so I’ll try one if I can.

So when do we get a pic of the new front bumper on for the 3rd gens, see it listed on the web page but no pic? I'm thinking I will be holding out towards end of the year, would prefer both front and rear bumpers but will see what the wallet can afford at that time. I know your still working on the HC rear for the 3rd gens.

There is a portillos in the airport. They serve Chicago dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. I call it a beef dip because thry take the sandwich and dunk the whole thing in the juices leftover from roasting the beef.
