@MikeyMcFly I'm with other Mike. Bargain shopping is not dumb!

Also as a side hustle you could Uber with your fancy new suspension :burnrubber::rofl::rofl:

Why not just get 6112s, they are the same thing?

Edit didn't realize it was front and rear. Though the spring rated and valving are underdamped/ sprung for a 3g as it's heavier

What tires are you thinking of going with? I will probably have a set of 285/70r17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s for sale soon.

Eh, it's only about 200 lbs. if you compare lightest to heaviest. No idea where the weigh difference sits relative to the corners.

Where are you getting your info? (No sarcasm, wondering where you found it). The 6112 springs test out to 610# and the Pro springs test at 600# per what I've read on here Granted the valving might not be perfect for the 3G, but still.

Is it ideal, maybe not, but for the price and what it will give me, it's a steal.

    EDIT:

Headstrong Off Road says here that they are very similar.

BFG KBros in 265/75. Had them on the 2G and loved em. Got the same wheels from my 2G in boxes ready to go.

How long are they running that deal? I'd be interested to see how your truck looks after putting it in

I honestly don't know. There are about 220ish sets left for sale so it seems like Toyota is clearing them out. They are basically a non-adjustable 6112 / 5160 package for the same price as a 6112.

In the last post I made in the 3G thread I found a side shot of a member that had them. I wouldn't be doing mine until the nicer weather but I will have fotos then.

Originally I was doing tires and then building a Bro clone with the Rigid fogs and skid plate and then I'd think suspension but this came up and was too good not to grab.

Plus if for some reason I decide not to put them in once they get here I'm sure I could move them and not take too much of a hit. I have been scouring the house looking for things of value that I don't use to sell. I'm so sentimental though that I'm awful at it.

Woke up at 430 wide awake. Kinda sucks since it’s too cold to go for a run. Instead I’ve been wiping a PC to sell and updating and wiping an Xbox one to sell

Unrelated, anyone want to buy a PC or Xbox one? :D

Feels like -16 here, gonna have a cup of coffee, hop in the ranger, hook up the drag and go re-groom the ski trails for my parents. This weather is where smartwool and my insulated overalls really shine!

We have a couple miles of trails on the property and my parents have always been big xc skiers. As they get older and my wife and I moved up here I have taken over a lot of the maintenance. Have a nice 6 foot drag that lays some nice corduroy!

    No downhill tho sorry lol

Oh cool, yeah my brother has his kids racing already up at prospect in VT during the weekends! A good sport for families and great exercise. Yeah we are actually right next to the forest and the snowmobile guys come up our road since they don't plow, but our trails are away from those. If you ever are looking for a spot to go let me know, they are only around on the some of the weekends so usually the trails are only being used to walk the dogs. You can also backcountry off the trails all you would like, or head off our property and hit the state forest trails.

I'll try to take a couple of pictures this morning as I cruise around

Thanks for the offer, but that is your secret get away. I am jealous, sounds like a great place. That is my dream - to live someplace where I can ski out my backdoor.

Here are some pictures, the big open area is the "hockey pond" needs to be cleared off though! It is an amazing property and I live the dream up here with my wife and our dogs. Might explain to some people why the wife and I are in no rush to buy a home and move out, it's hard to beat the set up we have here...
