I never had any luck dealing with their sales department. I have bought and had all my service done at Toyota of Frankfort.

I mostly like Toyota South because of the FJ40 in the showroom.

Oddly enough, neither have I. I almost pulled the trigger on a '13 there. I had sold my Dodge and was going to pay about 75% of the purchase price in cash and then finance the rest with them or my bank. I was going to be financing probably $6k or so. The salesman would not show me the total purchase price until I signed saying I would buy it. I asked to speak to the sales manager to get an explanation as to why and he goes through the whole "we're giving you such a good deal we just want to know your committed". After asking if he typically purchased vehicles without knowing what he paid we agreed to disagree and I left. I ended up finding my 2010 on Craigslist a day or two later. I bought my '08 at Toyota on Nicholasville and had a great experience. I live in Berea and they let me drive it home, drive it to work in Winchester that next day, work all day and then drive it back to Nicholasville. I was blown away. I made them an offer for it and they came back within about $150. I wrote them a check, gave them the keys to my Wrangler and left.

I bought my FJ through Mann Dodge in Richmond from Mann Toyota in Prestonsburg. I've bought 3 vehicles from Manns and don't have a single complaint. We did all the paperwork on the FJ site unseen with the contingency that if I didn't like it or it wasn't what rhey said I could walk. It was actually nicer than I was expecting honestly and they brought it to my house for me to look out. That's service.

Now see, I can't stand Toyota of Nicholasville. My wife and I were going to buy a Solara from them and they sold it right from under us.

This whole "hold it in your mouth" till the swelling goes down is exhausting. I'm tired.

Something about being a city boy with a PreRunner that required some drunkin yard fab'ing hazing.
