Can anyone comment on their experiences with the MPG hit going from stock Dunlap to KO2s? I’m considering staying with standard 245/75/16 or bumping up to 265/70/16 on 2012 Tacoma 4x4 double cab. Thanks in advance.

.5 MPG if you keep stock size. 1MPG if you go to 265/70/16.

Thank you. That is way better MPG hit than I was expecting.

Pulled the trigger today. Called in to one of our local Discount Tires and asked if I should wait for Presidents Day sale. Local manager worked up a deal with instant rebate.

Very happy so far - firm but smooth ride and very little highway noise. I’ll report on MPG drop and off-road once I hit some ranch roads.

Does anyone have these on the stock steel wheels? Preferably in 265/75/16?

You are going to lose 2 to 3 mpg going from a 32lb tire to 48/53 lb tire. I lost 2mpg going from a 32 to 42lb tire. I'm not bull Craping you. I'm obsessed with my gas mileage.

This was literally posted on the last page, the page that you asked for photos with stock wheels. Not trying to be a dick, but I don't think you looked too hard lol

I was looking for them on stock steel wheels only, like the ones on my truck. Those are alloy wheels.

Oh... yeah haven't seen any at all with the steel wheels. Most Tacomas I see on here, especially 2nd get were TRD Sport or TRD OR wheels packages and had alloy wheels.

Literally, none of those trucks have the stock steel wheels.
