Blacked Out Dash Chrome

funny, i just saw a pic of that for the first time today. had no idea what u was looking at.

that not a bad idea, I've just been hesitant due to the circular masking (pita!!) and horrible fumes in a confined space.

 

Is it easy to remove all the trims pieces to do this? Just pry and pull up????

 

It won’t be necessary to remove the trim to apply these. I’ll provide detailed nstructions and extra vinyl with each set.

 

Sorry this is off topic, but do you have black or red vinyl that covers the square frame of the SR5 grill? Apologies if you've answered this previously.

 

UPDATE: The blackout kit and instructions are done. I will be sending it to a couple of members to evaluate the quality, instructions, and installation procedure before I list it.

The blackout is cool for sure, but would be concerned about doing it well, little vinyl experience.

I'd like to know more about what appears to be a leather dash insert/cover above your glove box in the 4th pic! Where did that come from?

My center console still has chrome and my steering wheel as well. Thankfully that's it

The interior is much more subdued now. It is weird how much a few bright pieces throws things off.

The bits of sparkle you see in the pic are from alcohol in the bottom of the groove. I pulled the trim off since it was a bit cold in the garage for applying the stickers.

I do have the far right one to do since I could not seem to pop it out by hand. I will post up pics of the finished job later.
