I am a noob and was wondering if someone could write me a list of all the suspension upgrades/parts needed to turn an Offroad into a "pro"? I appreciate the help!

Well if you want the overpriced non adjustable 3100.00 Fox Shocks here they are. But for that money you can do 10x better with KINGS, or actual FOX Adjustable Coilovers or even all ICON. Then I believe 2,000.00 for Headlights, 500.00 for Rigid Fogs 400.00 for an actual OEM Grill not the China Knock Off. And I am sure there is more, like a full Leather Interior.

Really it’s just the factory fox suspension, trd skid plate, and trd exhaust from what I know. I’m sure someone will add on more to this very short list. But there is much more quality options out there.

Edit: ^ beat me and more complete list.

So O.P you could actually turn your truck into a better Off Road Beast than the over inflated Pro. With different aftermarket parts.

Thanks everyone with the helpful answers. Let me just throw it out there that I am not going for a pro clone, just a more capable vehicle than I have now. I am also not interested in a huge lift and huge tires as I tow my boat a lot. I think the the capability of a truck with pro sized lift and tires would give me the best of both worlds, a vehicle that does no sacrifice its towing capabilities yet allows me to do some decent 4x4. I would much rather use better components than the pro at the same price or less.

Did you buy one of the kits on Icons website or just certain parts?

I dig your truck @BlueFalconActual. I am thinking your route makes the most sense.

I think that my original post was misleading as I never wanted a pro clone just a truck with similar capability and size. Calling it a "pro" was just the easiest description I could give regarding the idea in my head without knowing all the technical specs and terms. It seemed that most guys on here either want to lift their truck 3" up or just try and shove the biggest tires that they can on stock suspension, neither of those options were right for me so I decided to seek out some advice.

About the towing - I tow a lot BUT the weight is not much. My boat and trailer is less than 2k LBS but I tow on long trips quite often. My truck has been great for this and I dont want to sacrifice that.

http://maverickboats.com/boats/18-hpx-v/#specifications - this is what I tow the website specs the boat out at 1400LBS and I figure the aluminum trailer and gear on board has to be less than an extra 1000LBS. Do we still think new springs would be necessary?
