PTR13-35150 - Bilstein TRD PRO kit - Upgrade??

Only fronts have been installed so far

Pre-lift measurements:
Front Driver: 35.0 in
Front Passenger: 35.4 in
Rear Driver: 36.0 in
Rear Passenger: 36.0 in

Post-lift measurements:
(measurements made after driving around about 4 miles)
Front Driver: 37.12 in
Front Passenger: 37.25 in
Rear Driver: 36.0 in
Rear Passenger: 36.0 in

Calculated Front Lift:
Driver: 2.12
Passenger: 1.85

Considerations: Probably needs more time to settle. Initial measurements made with cold air in tires (10 deg F), temperature after install 35 deg F plus heat generated from driving around.

I am definitely nose high by about 1 inch. I don't think settling will bring me back to level. I will be adding a 3 leaf add-a-leaf from wheelers to bring back some rake. No feedback on ride yet. Ive only driven a few miles.

Thanks for the info TPC. I am hoping for about 1.5" to 1.75" in the end and I might just get that.
I am prepared to buy the 1" Toytec front lift if I only get ~.75". Even with buying that I would be ahead versus buying the 6112/5160 combo.

Thanks for the info. It looks like people who only want to be level will still need something out back.

Once you've put a few miles on the set can you snap a photo where the truck is on level ground? The photo you show is great but the slope hides the nose-high a bit.

Looks like a rear lift may be in my future sadly.

Seems like it will settle to give you 1.75" lift

 

Somewhere in my research on these there was a comment about where to set ride height at. The collar looked to have a few different settings. Did you find that was the case? Did you set the drivers side higher than passenger? Any chance it can be set to ride any lower?

Ordered, we'll see if they put the order through.

 

If you set both struts to the low setting, the passenger would still be lifted the same amount and you would have taco lean on the drivers side.

Dammit, I’m pulling the trigger now that I’ve seen it’s in the 1.5-2” range... $630 shipped and done.

I think you are assuming that the rear will be lifted with this kit. It will not be

You cannot adjust the front any higher or lower

 

The ride is better than OME sports with 884 coils IMO, but I'm a 2nd gen. Really Smooth and Plush so far with 600 miles on them so far

 

I figured this would not lift the front more than an inch. Now that there are some measurements I guess the rear will need some attention to keep it level. Thanks for the info on the back staying where it is at. Time to read up on adding a leaf.

 

Well... order placed! Thanks for the info from you guys who installed already! I'm gonna go with a 1" block with a U-bolt flip and superbumps in the back, should be sitting pretty nice.

 

I was planning on a 6112/5160 with Dakar or other leaf combo targeting 1.75” of lift long term. So as soon as the #’s were posted above this is a no brainer. For the same cost of the 6112 up front I get all 4 corners, the red and TRD labeling is just the icing on the cake. Now who’s doing what for rear leaf spring with this? I have a ARE shell with Prinsu top rack and want around 1.5” in back to go with what I get up front.
