So I sold my sliders yesterday. Neighbor walks up this morning and I literally bought the same kind back today. Installed those today with a little grip tape.

Installed my TRD OR flares today. Very easy...took my 15 minutes. You don't need the two sided tape "unless you are anal and like wasting daylight"?!? The top of the flare fit snug to the body and the one place that it didn't was fixed easily with a heat gun.

Well, they came back with "nope, hooked the OBD and the truck has the latest flash". Why would they make me wait an additional 45 min for that?! It did seem to hold 5th and 6th better on the way home so I'll keep an eye on it. I've never been unhappy with it, and I can average 17.5 mpg's with 265s. Oh well.

Was pissed about the whole ordeal so I figured I'd turn my 3rd gen into a 2nd gen.

    Removed the B pillar vinyl.

32 degrees when I started. Ran outta light so I'll have to do the other side tomorrow. Next will be those pin stripes.

    Welcome :hattip:

We have sticky threads on here too dedicated to lifting. Check those out too.

Headstrong Offroad (a vendor here) seems to be the go to for kits. Give them a call and ask for Marie. She'll be glad to answer any questions you have.

Ultimately I'm going to replace those bed side decals wit something custom, and black.

To fix or not to fix? $1900 to fix with $1000 deductible. Should I live with this or pay up? Sucks people either don’t leave notes anymore or they are so stupid they didn’t even know they smashed my truck!
