Imma pray I get more than 40k out of them. I would Hope as long as the 5100 set. But really depends on how you use them.

I've got almost 80K on the bilstein 5100s on my 1st gen, I guess it's about time to replace them with another set. Replacement for all four corners will be under $400

    Just saying....

Honestly, because I have stock height, I added 17 in pro comp vertigo on 31 in falken wildpeaks. And now it rubs when I turn my wheels on an incline or decline, I really wanna get 5100s but scared of going " cheap route" but I hear such great things about them

The 5100s would be a definite improvement to your stock sport shocks but your suspension upgrade should be dependant on how you use the truck.

Anything over 2 inches will likely require adding UCA'S to get a decent alignment

If you spend a lot of time running fast over washboard surfaces I'd recommend the 6112/5160 pair or coilovers if you like to fiddle with adjustments or don't mind the additional maintenance that comes with coilovers. If the truck is mostly street driven (70% or more) the 5100s and aftermarket springs like OME should be sufficient.

If you're looking to get into rock crawling you need to consider something else.

Call the folks at headstrong, let them know your primary uses and they'll guide you to something that will meet your needs and budget.

UCAS to get a decent alignment when lifting over 2 inches, ECGS bushing to replace the weaker design of the needle bearing that may fail prematurely due to lifting. Some folks even have needle bearing failure at stock height.

Truck should come stock with ECGS bushing.

Life expectancy can vary, depending on how you use the truck. Some people are just hard on equipment. I'm over 70K on mine, on a 2nd gen, and still rides sweet! I've seen 'em blown and leaking oil in 10K.
