300 mile rattle

Is or has anyone hearing a rattle from the front that sounds like calipers rattling. Im only at 340 miles on the truck and I heard it today. Oldlady says its done that since we bought it

 

Do you have caliper covers? I’ve heard they can rattle.

 

I havent added anything to it. I've only had it fo 2weeks.
I hate to take it in if its something simple im overlooking

 

Hmmmm, is it definitely outside the cab? Rattles can echo like crazy.

 

Roll pass. Side window down and you can really hear it.
I even thought about taking the toyota step bars off to see if its something inside of them. I hate them things anyway

 

find bumpy road, LIGHTLY drag brakes while driving over said road.............does it rattle?

Could be the pads

 

I did try that and still rattles. Im really thinking its the step bars. But my olelady likes them on there

 

thats easy, smack them around (the bars). Check the bolts and washsers I guess

also crawl under and with a cool exhaust, slap it with ur palm..... see if its a shield.

 

Maybe just a loose bolt on the steps?

 

Im gonna dig deeper into it in a day or so. Appreciate all the input guys.

Check your lugnuts too, they might be loose!

 

Im gonna give it a good onceover when I can. We have a house full of grandkids until tomorrow evening.
