He’s asking because some members have reported getting free patches with their orders.

Who said it needs to be useful? Stickers aren’t useful, but I still enjoy getting them when I buy things.

Does anyone here have load panels installed in their rack? I have two of them, they rattle and slide a bit side to side. Just wondering if someone came up with a solution to fix this.

Is the rattling coming from where panel touches bar? If so could a strip of dynomat between bar and panel be placed under so it dampens it or not enough room. Also the slot nuts probsbly wiggle drilling through bar would secure it tight but u may not want that

I believe so, with the panels you install plastic sliders on all four corners so it can drop into the cross bar slots. There is enough play to push the panel to the side where it almost falls out of the side rail cut out. I'll need to post some pictures up.

Alright, getting the Yakima tracks installed on my long bed topper this Friday. Just to confirm, there isn't an exact separation distance the tracks need to be, I presume that the rack's mounting feet have some adjustability?

Alright guys, so I assembled the roof rack. Now 2 things: rtv silicone should be fine and not cause rust on the roof right?
Also, I have to punch the plastic roof trim on the flat side right on a piece of wood and not the reverse side?
Sorry for a lot of questions. Do not want to fuck up!

Top rack is on and the ARE dealer even assembled and installed it for free when they put the Yakima rails on! One thing they noted is that since the top of the CX is slightly curved it caused difficulties getting the mounting feet to level. Because of this there is a slight upward bow of the rails at each foot. Is that normal? Hopefully this won’t make the cap susceptible to leaking at the rail mounting holes.

I put the panels in. I just moved one crossbar as far forward as I could, then sandwiched the panel as tight as I could by hand back against the
opposite side. I verified the depth of the load plate side to side before completely tightening down the crossbars. I don't experience any rattle on
    mine.

This is normal most will add spacers/washers of sorts to fill in the gap. some have switched mounting feet to other styles that help with this issue. i have some on mine since i bought a used 3 year old toprac back before they switched to what they use now. i had to cut off the old feet from the side rails and buy mounting feet. however what i bought wasn't cheap and slighted excessive but fixes the issue.

Thank you, that’s good to know. Were your feet sold by CBI/Prinsu or are they custom fabbed? Mine is about 2 months old so I’m surprised there wasn’t the correct feet.

That makes sense, I have both of my panels installed between crossbars that are in the fixed, non sliding slots. That's probably the issue.
