Just put on Rough Country 3" Tube steps and a Truxedo Truxsport Soft Cover. Just wanted to show people how the Rough Country steps looked like since I didn't see much pictures or reviews on it.

One gripe I do have about the tube steps are that the front steps are a little too far forward for my liking but the back steps are basically in perfect position. It was between these steps and the N fab ones, since RCs were cheaper and with free shipping I Figured i would give it a shot.

Are you ever going to offroad with the truck?

Valid question, as they might get hung up

Im envisioning the steps getting ripped completely off if it goes offroad.

Very Light offroading, dirt trails small rock trails basically all to get to camp sites never rock climbing and stuff. Ground clearance isn't a big concern for me since this truck will never go more than 30 degrees vertical up a rock.

Those steps might get hung up on a tripwire o_O

So do these trails have bumps/small hills?

Only reason I ask, is we have all been there and learned the hardway by having them ripped off the truck and the rockers getting damaged. Hate to see that happen to a member.

My first set of steps on a truck lasted all of a week before the forst one got ripped off. And it was on an fsr road. Not even really off roading.

Yhe damage to the rocker panel was crazy, cost about 1000 cdn to repair

The Bumps aren't huge and if it is a small hill its not a steep drop at the end. My 2011 CRV made it through it and rubbed a couple of times so I'm guessing the Taco should roll right over. Theres no part that I would be REALLY Stuck and have to floor it up a hill. I usually take my time and enjoy the scenery as I make my way up the trail.

Fair enough, sounds more like a groomed trail then anything.
