Dude it was 55 today. Hit tubbs hill for a little hike. There is only little piles of snow left in parking lots from plows. Tons of motorcycles out today.

 

82 today, winter is still in full effect here

 

lol summer is gonna suck.

 

I've got two huge ac units and a pool. Only thing I'm missing is a tequila servant but I'm working on that. But yeah I'm trying to fill summer with trips so I can avoid it haha

 

sounds expensive haha

But nice!

 

Perks of the work luckily. If it wasn't already our vacation home you can bet I'd just find a shack with AC and rent shop space haha.

You've moved a couple time recently right? Is the trailer house long term?

 

Least till may. 6 month lease and then month to month after that. Has a shop though why I took it.

Don't want to be here for long though

 

Shop is always a bonus, one day I'd like some taller ceilings so I can have a lift.

How's the new taco doing, been taking it to work?

 

No I had title issues so only driven a few times. I love it though. It's so tiny and in such good shape.

Shop is nice. I could put a two post lift in it if it was mine and would. But don't want to have to move that around haha

But it'll be nice to fix Igor's front end and then start working on frank.

 

Igor is just plastic and sheet metal work right? Hopefully not too much work to get back to business as usual

 

Yeah I have a newly painted fender ready. Need to decide on if I'm doing a retro to the head lights or just get a new one. New corner light. Gonna put the old stock grill in for now. Will send the Homer grill back to craig to see if he can fix it.

Then add the new bumper.

I also am gonna do:

Timing belt
Water pump
Valve cover gaskets
Oil change and filter
Body mount bushings

Was going to rebuilt the front suspension too but I might postpone that a bit for now.

 

It will be interesting to see if your crank seal is seeping. Mine was. 175K.

 

The rear main? Or the front seal? I've never seen any oil drips from Igor. But i'll definitely check.

 

crank seal on the front is recommended with the higher mileage. Mine was not dripping but was beginning to seep. Changed it as a precaution.

 

Cool. I guess i'll do it while i have the motor broke down. Can't hurt. At 208k now.

 

yeah, that's why I mentioned it. The seal itself is not expensive but I don't think it is part of the typical eBay kits.

 

Yeah i got a rock auto one new in the box for 100 bucks. Will look.
