South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

Do you have some near you? I have been doing some research and found several that look really interesting around the Pisgah Nat'l Forest here in NC. And one that you access off of 40 W @ abt. mile marker 6.

 

I live near the francis Marion national forest so we will go do some there. Which will be a gamble since neither me or her get cell service

 

Don’t get stuck in a mud hole if solo with no cell service...

 

Do they have some decent trails?

@dan0mite @EricL I have started using Ubuntu at home and absolutely love it. I need to do some stress testing at work on some process servers, so I started digging into it. I'll probably be using a light distro for that due to the older, single core architecture.

 

True...for safety reasons, the car was probably a better choice since I can turn traction control on.
The truck is donut city.....full time.

And here's a cool feature of the Continental DWS extreme contact, all season performance tires.

The "DWS" (dry, wet, snow) logo is cut at different depths in the tread with S being the shallowest, then W and lastly D at the deepest.

So you can just glance at your tread and see if you are safe for whatever weather.

 

But that is really fun. Somewhere on the net is video in my old F350 and my coworker in his F250 drifting in the snow around the shop and pulling our other coworkers on trashcan lids around. That was when we had gotten 1ft of snow like 7-8 yrs ago.
