Not to get too off topic but that was a pilot error that was caused by complacency and a reliance on the said automation.

If your vehicle can’t detect it’s speed, I wouldn’t expect cruise control to work.

The problem is when people rely so heavily on automated systems that they forget their basic instincts and training.

Just because Tesla has autopilot doesn’t mean you should fall asleep at the wheel

Yeah I was worried when I first ordered the grille. Although it had awesome reviews on the quality, I thought I was going to have to move on with a dangling TSS chip. The seller did an awesome job in placing the housing for the TSS in the lower part of the grille. I reused the 3 screws that held the sensor on the old grille and everything buttoned up perfectly. It took no more than 30 mins to install.

That’s the link to the Faux grille I ordered. As you can see he’s sold out for now, solid product! I received it in about a 7 business days pretty quick coming from China. Also the seller sent me a thank you post card for purchasing his product thought that was pretty awesome! Roughly 150 bucks for the purchase, cant beat that at all :bananadance:

Yes it came with the housing for the TSS sensor on the lower half (under the Toyota logo) I was worried it wouldn’t have the right housing for the chip and to my surprise it did! Fit just like it would on the original grille.

Look closely on the the bottom mid under the logo and you’ll see the solid spot for the housing

Just to let you guys know you should have the Toyota garnish over your radar sensor. It allows the radar to work as intended and gives complete protection. The 16-17 cover has two holes in it. A rock strike on the radar sensor could damage it and the cost of the sensor is very expensive. Some have tries to use plexi glass in front but end up with error codes.

Also the cost of the OE pro grill has come way down. I've seen it online in the US for as low as $170 so it's pointless to buy a Chinese faux grill.

Talked with Larry h Miller downtown toyota Spokane. They said only certain s shops and dealerships that work with Toyota can do a lift without voiding the warranty.

Well, Larry H Miller is a fucking retard. Lifting a truck does not void warranty. The only voided thing would be the suspension since it has been replaced with non-OEM parts.

I’m don’t have much knowledge on this topic. Maybe they are saying they can give you a warranty on the new suspension. But then why would only shops that work with Toyota be able to do that?

Let me put it to you this way. Most dealers "could" lift a Tacoma for you. Most "won't".

I just had a Readylift put on at Toyota of Olympia on my 16 Sport.

I was looking at an 18 while the work was being done. I asked my sales guy, "if I buy this will you put a Readylift or any lift on it for me?"

Emphatic NO! Was what I heard.

Maybe the big Toyota announcement this week will solve our problems? Maybe a stock Tacoma with a 2.5" lift kit installed from the factory?

Because once again, people at the dealerships don’t know their asses from holes in the ground. Why in the name of all that is good and holy would you even talk to the dealership about lifting your truck? They don’t even use quality stuff to do the ones they mark up.

Just my .02: Let's be honest, some people need all the help they can get driving, let alone flying. Unless we're all going to have our hands at ten and two, brains switched on all the time every time, having the safety stuff will help. That said, if it REALLY was about safety, and not having as many people as possible driving as many vehicles at possible, proper annual road tests would do a lot more to helping with bad drivers. But I suspect most people would fail that...
