Finally got my ditch lights on. Relentless brackets and rigid D pods with side shooters. Thanks again to “the glen” for the extra set of hands

I was looking at getting a set of Relentless' brackets but how is the hood glare?

Any light on the hood is going to produce glare and more importantly reduce your vision at nighttime. You will feel like your lights are giving good output, but they will perform better for your own eyes if positioned so as not to bounce off the hood. Which is why initially all these hood mounts are marketed as ditch lights...not forward facing lights. They work for both it just depends on how you want to compromise.

That pic is from During the day right after install. Relentless seemed to change their design a little. It lifted the lights a little higher than their old style. We went last night and positioned them. Not too much reflection on the hood, I’ll take a pic tonight
