Keyboard? You must be on mobile?

Patent laws are super crazy hard to follow. I know a company was supposedly going to buy the patent and start remaking them. There was a thread on ExpoP i found while looking at them.

I really think will some modern updates they would be awesome.

Here's my hoist. Gets it just high enough to drive the cab under. If it was my own garage I'd definitely make a nicer setup but for $100 and an hour of time it works.

Is there a way to remove the ucas without removing the shocks?

Just remove the shocks, 4 bolts and it take like 5 mins. You could remove the ucas but they're not easy way to put back with the shock in there. Also it would spring apart pretty violent depending on spring rate.

    Not really.

    Well..

    actually sure.

You can undo the UCA bolt thats at the spindle and separate it there. Then remove the mount bolt. Swap in the new UCA and you'll have to press out the old ball joint to put in the slug adapter for the uniball.

Then use a jack to up the LCA to mate the spindle to the uniball.

Id just pull the shock though. Easy and only 4 bolts..Be easily to work with IMO.

It's not a hard "no" but it's not the easiest or safest way to go about it either.

Yeah nothing wrong with it. But the shock is easy to pull and will be easier to manipulate the suspension to where it needs to be to line up.

Ordered a BAMF BPV relocation bracket. Quick question, since I plan on using stock size coils and 5100's on the middle setting, should I need diff drop and sway bar drop brackets? Going for 1.5" of lift.
