Always good to not wheel alone...... blah blah blah.........im sure most situations are easy to get out of when you have the right equipment. Sometimes it is hard to find another vehicle to go with you and as long as you stay calm and think ahead, normally things work out. I may be able to join you for Potts if I can get off work for the remainder of the week because I wouldn't ride out there for one day of wheeling.

Well you definitely are welcome to join for that and the rest of the week. Like I said it's a trip where it will have harder wheeling at the beginning (Pott's) some overlandy BS in between (flagpole and reddish), and ending at the Big Dog's event in Winchester (more hard wheeling all weekend). Likely get down there Tuesday night, wheel Pott's Wednesday into Thurs, head up to camp at Reddish or Flagpole Thursday night, end in Winchester Friday for wheeling.

Sounds good. I will see if I can get off work Wed/Thursday and plan to meet you at the trail head for Potts. Will figure it out in a month or two if I can make it.

April is a slow month for me. I am interested in tagging along if you'll have me. My 98 is stock with 265s but if you are looking to do more difficult trails I can bring the land cruiser.

Sounds good! Something tells me the LC will be better suited for potts based on the videos I’ve seen. I’m on 35’s locked front and rear and I’m hoping to tackle all the harder lines if I can. Don’t wanna drive all the way down there for bypasses

From what I am seeing and hearing the LC would be best like Cynicalrider said

I thought this trail had ZERO to a few bypasses. Wow you seem better equipped then my truck for this trail. Do you plan to start going up or down the trail?

From what I've seen in pics and videos there are hard lines and harder lines lol and ideally I'd like to go the hard way, going up. But I'm not opposed to running it both ways, go down first one day and up the second. I also think it depends on the weather too. If there is some rain before hand it seems like everything gets really slick and that adds to it. If it's conditions like that I'd have to play it by ear. I'm not looking to go out and break my rig for fun, that's just dumb (though I carry spare parts and am prepared for breakage if it happens), but I do want a challenge and something technical.

Anyone know who has the long travel black Tacoma, with the fiberglass fenders and bedsides? Saw it driving down general Booth, looked pretty rad!

Looked like a 2nd gen, but now there is doubt in my memory.

I believe you are correct, thanks! It’s a pretty rad rig.
