    I'm headed to Bastrop to check out the Pine Forest roads. Wanted to go earlier but it is extremely foggy out here by the river and all the down 969.

    Will snap a few photos and report back so we are better prepared for next weekend after the meet up.

    Live update here from Pine Forest:

    There is a Range Rover group out here right now. It's their first time out here so I have teamed up with them. This place is pretty awesome so far. It's thankfully dry but if it wasn't some spots could be challenging.

    just not so sure about about it anymore.......turning wrenches for flat rate is a pain in the ass, i don't care if you are paid 100 per hr, if it is all warranty or nothing comes in it is still 0.....

    Alright guys,

    This place is a hidden gem if you ask me. Had a blast exploring these roads. Made it out without any issues but by all means played it safe since I was by myself. Range Rover group bailed after one Loop of the place. I went ahead and found some roads that were pretty challenging due to them being washed out over the years. There is a loop that Would be ok for 2WD but most of the roads I wouldn't do without 4WD. I can highlight a map route that I covered if y'all are interested.

    Best part of today was running into a member of the ATX Tacoma (FB group) at the end!!! We talked about next weekend and it sounds like we have a bunch of people coming to the meet. He mentioned a group from Victoria coming.
