Finished painting my TRD Pro skid plate. Just need to let it dry before bolting it up.

I flipped my spare tire over in the carrier, you know, so I can actually check the pressure easily. I wonder when manufacturers will stop doing dumb crap like that.

Engine block paint. Enamel with ceramic spray paint. Lots of coats. We'll see how it holds up... next step is powdercoating.

The scoop really does block your vision, but overall looks badass and is more structured (and heavier) than the flat hood.

To be fair, a good set of adjustable coil overs could more than account for the lack of a sway bar. Having the ability to adjust the compression on the resi's is really all you need to tune out the body roll. The bypasses certainly aid in it all and make for an exceptionally comfortable and controlled ride, but I know a ton of people with some good coil overs that aren't running sway bars

The digressive valving of Icons make this possible. Wouldn’t do it with progressive or linear valving such as Kings or Fox.

I too tried to find every reason to think it was ok. I test drove my truck stock. The dealer offered to put a 2” lift like the one you mentioned on for a few hundred dollars and said it WOULD NOT change ride quality. I agreed. The truck was sent off to have leather seat covers and the lift installed.
Went back to the dealership two days later to pick my truck up. Left the lot, drove 5 miles down the road, and immediately turned around and went back demanding they pay me half of what it would cost for my Icons since I already ordered larger tires and the lift they installed made my truck ride like garbage.
It took a few weeks, but the owner agreed and I am now very happy with a real lift.
DON’T DO IT - buy once, cry once!

Edited since auto correct is illiterate.

Got my clazzios in on Friday, so I went ahead and knocked out the front row this morning. Really liking the feel and look. The embroidery really looks nice with the cement truck.

For everyone who asks if they need to do UCAs with <3” lift. I say ABSOLUTELY. Hindsight is 20/20...
Notice the angles. Top picture is dealer installed 2” spacer lift. Was only I the truck for a few miles, but this angle was the same with my Icons and stock UCAs (hard to see 2nd picture).

Here is the same 2” lift with Icon UCAs.
Huge difference in CV angles and a much improved ride quality.
