It took them a week to come over and give me a quote. They were about 500 bucks more than some other folks I've gotten quotes from, but I went with them because they were local to the Tuke and within 4 miles of my house so if I needed to go down there to choke someone out, it was a short drive.. LOL...

I did the micro pebble, new tile and step markers in the pool and spa and it ran me about 5500. I ran into issues with tree roots growing under the deck slab so that cost me a couple more grand. We also had them reinforce our water feature (Slide and waterfall), so that cost a few more grand. The owner Jose comes out to the job site every other day to check things out, crews are awesome.

I also called CDC pools, they were a joke, Missed 3 appointments, I called the office each time and they never had me on the calendar even though I talked to the same person each time I called.. LOL

I also looked into these guys and they seemed pretty legit, costs were within 500-1000. http://www.poolfix.com/ and http://superiorpoolplastering.com/

I have access to wholesale pool equipment so let me know if you want me to look up prices for you if you decide to replace the pool lights and stuff.

If Friday, drive into Mx, drop off sand rail, leave Mx, hang out in AZ Fri and camp, then head into Mx Sat earlyeafternoon, pick up sands rail, come back home.

Yah they are not far away from me at all either that’s why I was kind of looking at them, lots of good online reviews, good warranty of pool finish and so on. I’d be in for the water line tile, and there micro pebble finish for sure so far, then I’m need a quote of expanding the steps into a Baja step, also possibly running a auto top off line from the house plumbing, and then finally a waterfall/rock setup again depending on amounts.

For the light for sure I’m needing a new led one as the old one is broken anyways and needs to be replaced. I think he said there Pentax led color changing one is $800, but havent looked at other brands yet since I just started the hunt but I know the light is a for sure on the list as well, so any pricing discounts you can get on one would be welcomed.

Got some new tools so I decided to tighten up all the armor and grease everything on the taco. Still can’t get rid of the squeak but it is considerably less.
Took the new H&K to range this morning! Like it a lot but the raised sights took a little to get used too.

What are you getting done on the rail that is so cheap in MX that you are willing to risk your a hole . I like you too much to see you as the new attraction in the donkey show .

How tough is it to do that sort of swap? I bet a 3rd gen Taco / 5th gen 4 runner facelift might look pretty neat, aside from the mismatched flare style.

I remember back in the day when I had a Volkswagen GTI, the 4th gen, you could swap out with a Jetta/GLI front clip in an afternoon. Find a guy with a matching car color who wants a GTI front clip, meet up, and swap the panels. Hood, bumper, quarters... they just bolted right on.

For $400, getting the blown tranny swappedsoutoand rear suspension changed over to indepeninde.

ImI assuming it won't be long before I have to sell the rails and the Landcruiser. Better $ if they're ready to roll.

Really?? Across which models? I know someone did a 2nd>3rd Taco to Taco conversion but apparently that required fab work, which would lead me to believe there's something that wouldn't jive somewhere...
Got me curious AF to go look at a 4runner now and size it up. :p

Man what I wouldn't give to be back in my old apartment in Philly right about now... perfect view of the carnage.
Talked to my parents, they were talking about how my nana would have been out of her mind over this game.
This really means a lot to Philly people, not just the obnoxious assholes who are setting cars on fire right now...
