So does that give you the ability to cut back deeper and around the body mount instead of just a flat cut?

 

you have to cut deeper than normal mounts to get them fitted, i actually cut even more than the supplied templates, nearly flush with the rubber mount, had to remove one of the bolts and tac weld the back in plate since the mount has two screws that hold it in place.

oh damn haha too bad man, if I knew u were going to chop up ur center console I would have paid the shipping and traded you mine! I have a hole in my center console I no longer need to be there. I had cut to put a USB charging port but ended up finding one that goes under my AC controls hahaha

 

last minute decision to put it here, i was running out of places to cut and plant switches
