the funny thing is that when you go there to get whatever you can for your money ( in my case it was a roof rack and ditch lights which I didn't really need) for the roof top tent you could not get from core outfitters, you drive past his rig that still was fully outfitted with all the goodies and yes I was jealous of his cvt tent.

 

for what its worth, I've heard from numerous people that have looked close at it that its actually a major piece of shit lol. Almost everything on it is used parts that shouldn't have been reused.

but hey if you listen to the rumours that one and the yellow FJ with all the core goodies were paid for with customers money that was supposed to be for parts.

Honestly I don't know if it was the RTT group buy that went south that put him in this position (If that RTT group buy ever really existed) or if he was always a scamming piece of shit from the start.

 

I wish this would of been around sooner because when I was trying to get my money back every time I would post on other pages my posts would get deleted and I would receive a message saying I should take up that matter with nathan and core outfitters (like I didn't try that)

 

he used to have his own little following. When I had my run in prior to knowing nathan was the owner and my initial attempts at contact were strictly his core website I posted it to OF4WD.

I posted 'has anyone ordered from core blablabla'
right away got a post saying "i've ordered from nathan before he's a great guy bla bla"
and got a PM from Nathan himself right away apologizing giving me the whole bullshit story about website had wrong stock etc.

At the same time though I got two other PMs from people he's fucked over.
I know @Hurricane91 has come around but at first prior to this all blowing up both himself and another guy from True North Tacomas seemed to defend Nathan quite a bit and actually suggested Nathan on posts. That was before this thread so it might not have been known how bad it actually was.

But at this point given someone posted this thread on a shit load of pages no one has jumped in defending nathan, instead many have joined in adding their dealing with him. So at this point I don't think he has much left of support and everything is closing in around him.

 

Spoke to a few others today and our total has gone up to $33,400

Just thought of something. Nate is probably attending Roaming Rally 2018. He tends to go. We should all go and follow him around and keep heckling if he's going to refund us the money. Just harrass him all day. Sounds like fun.

 

He'd be brave to show his face on any trails at this point. So many people want their money back, like you said no one is above an ass whooping.

Given his business address isn't actually his home I'm pretty sure he's trying to hide.

Unfortunately BBB doesn't do anything. It's good to ebter a complaint but all they do is send him a letter or email to respond. In my case he never responded after two attempts so the case was closed and he got a negative rating.
