Exactly. 1/2 for taco lean and 1/2 to get full 3 inches

I’m really just undecided on the spacer delimma and what to do for leafs in the back. I’m worried with Dakar’s there will be too much rake at 2.75 inches of lift. And I can’t find a lot of info on it

    Really?

So you can remove the long overload spring (it has 2) and it will lower down to about 2-2.25. That way you lose zero load capacity. You can also remove the third leaf from the top but you lose capacity.

And what about the passenger side that doesn’t lean? If you put 1/2” spacers on a 2.5” lift you will be higher than 3”.

Well if they call for .5 for taco lean. I would essentially be adding .5 to the passangwr side wouldn’t i?

I would do a 1/4” on passenger and 1/2” driver if you want it to not lean.

This is why this forum is here. I’ve never found info on removing leafs on Dakar’s. Let alone thought about the possibility. Now that I made this thread you have opened my eyes to it... my bad. Through my searches I’ve found nothing on it

No the taco lean Is lower on the driver side which means you need more lift on the driver side if you put .5 on the passenger side you're going to make the taco lean even worse haha

The best way to search on the forum is ask your question on Google then type tacomaworld on it after it, believe me the search bar is useless cause it only takes keys words and you'll be going through tons on threads

no this is getting too confusing. I’m adding 1/4 to passanger = 1/2 inch and 1/2= 1 inch. Making it level right?

The picture threw me off, it said top plate spacers. I didn’t look at the quantity and thought you were ordering two 1/2” spacers.

Yup I’ve done that but literally never thought of googling taking a leaf out of Dakar’s. I wrote them off because of how high of a lift.

Yup that’s the plan. Kit comes with a 1/4 for the lean. But I want full lift and will be adding 1/2 to driver and the supplies 1/4 to passenger
