For all those who've been to Mexico recently will a 3/2 be good or should I bring a 4/3 as well? I'm fine with my 3/2 in Huntington.

I was fine in a 3/2 but I'm not too sensitive to cold water. I think you'll be fine if you wear a 3/2 normally.

Yeah, most people wear booties down there too. Pretty rocky and some sea urchins down in mex, we didn’t encounter any last trip but we did wear booties.

Yeah I picked up some booties last year after a trip to k38. I went to the frog house and almost bought a quicksilver 4/3 for $120 but didn't pull the trigger. I still might just cause it seemed like a good deal

Me and the truck are good. Her Camry not so much. Tail light lense was already broken but light is 100% functional

Really? Damn. Maybe I'll skip the 4/3 then. I'm comfortable in my 3/2 year round down here.

I was kidding, a little ;). A 4/3 works fine for places like Santa Cruz which is around 60 degrees right now, but go north to the bay or north of Pt Reyes in winter or spring and you'll be shaking 30 minutes in to your session. Bodega and SF buoys are reading bout 54 degrees right now. I've seen them dip to 48 or so in years past. Summer and fall I sometimes trunk it around the bay, usually 4/3 no hood though. but always where a hood up north no matter what.

    God I miss Hawaii.
