Nice. That’s what I’m looking for but I have 33’s and my truck is roughly 1000 pounds heavier than stock so I’m just afraid nothing short of a regear or boost will help at this point lol

Yeah... regear sounds like nxt option but I'd recommend them w/ regear honestly I'm hoping I can regear when I upgrade tires to 33s

    A thing or two...
Early 2nd gen manuals call for 0w20 or 5w20. 0w is synthetic only, but 5w is available in non0-synthetic. Also, most dealerships just dump in 5w30 or 10w30 if you don't pay them extra for synthetic.

Hmm didn't know early models could have either. I know my dealer has specials on oil changes for 19.99. up to 6 quarts. But when I go, they see my single cab and say no special for you sir, that takes synthetic.

Your truck will take either 0w20 or 5w20. There were no changes to the 2TR throughout the 2nd gen run. I'm sure the change to only 0w20 was for fuel economy reasons.

Screw that, I still got 30,000 miles of factory warranty left. I am gonna put exactly what it says and keep all the receipts in the maintenance manual like I been doing. But that's good to know in case I get in a pinch.

Well, I am taking mine off next week and having it scanned and built. Yall can dilly dally all yall want, I am tired of waiting. Also making a 1 mm aluminum plate with capture nuts to re loccate the resonator box on top of the engine. There is no way I am gonna have anything flopping under there.

I’m in for ALUMINUM only, weldable grade. I need to make a turbo intake. If you guys don’t I’ll be making/selling one too.

I do apologise, and your more than welcome to go on your own. I have given my machinest everything necessary to re-create this spacer, I'm just waiting for him to get time to have the program made. Once the program is complete, these will be ready to go. If we can't get something done in the next week or two, I will more than likely be purchasing my own CNC machine and making them myself. Like you all, I have been wanting this spacer also, but it's been a challenge finding a cost effective way to get them made and get it made right.

Good news! I just got off the phone with him and he said the drawing is complete and his machine operator is programming the CNC machine right now! Shouldn't be much longer! I will order a batch of intake manifold gaskets and bolts this weekend so we'll be ready as soon as they are in production. I will keep you posted.

You and me both! I put my name on the list for these before I even had a Tacoma!? Lol With the ballpark figure he's given me I will be able to keep it at $250. That will include a new intake manifold gasket, necessary hardware for install (longer bolts and spacers), and shipping. Hopefully USPS is nice to me...:fingerscrossed: :spending:
