For those of us that have not pulled the trigger on this upgrade myself included.
I would love to know what rims you guys KNOW that will fit.
I've seen many people upgrade and find out the rims don't work.

Would be great for some feedback on
    1) tire size
    2) rim size and maker
    3) tundra caliper model
    4) a photo
    5) spacer or no spacer, if so how much
    6) an issues?
    7) will your new rim and tire fit in the spare tire location if u have a flat?

I did find some info from ttora that worked for the 4 runners, but no photos Another note, The 191mm calipers are supposed to fit inside the factory 16" wheel. the 231mm will definately not fit in the factory 16" wheel. So unless you want to grind into your factory wheels, you're gonna have to go aftermarket, or spacers.

    s13we 13wl 199. 233

    S13WE 199mm Tundra Calipers
16" Weld "Mountain Crusher" aluminum rims
    16"(x8) Pro Comp 1059
    16" Procomp 8069
    17" Procomp 8069
    16" Wheeler's Type B

    S13WL 231mm Tundra Calipers
    16"(x8) Pro Comp 1059
    16" Procomp 8069
    17" Procomp 8069
    16" Wheeler's Type B

List below is from another link
Some info on which wheels will clear the 231mm Tundra Caliper WITHOUT spacers (Just using the quote format to make this stand out):

OEM Wheels that have been confirmed to fit over 231mm Calipers:

17" 6 Spoke FJ Wheels PIC
Base model 4Runner, 6 spoke steel wheels (reference: Wheel fitment with Tundra Brakes - YotaTech Forums)
    OEM 4-Runner "5-Star" wheels PIC
OEM 4-Runner 5-Spoke "Flower" Wheels, found on '01-02 models PIC
    OEM Tundra/Tacoma 5-Spoke Wheels PIC
    OEM 4th Gen 4-Runner 6 Spoke 17" Wheels PIC
    TRD Ivan Stewart Wheels PIC
5-Spoke 1st Gen Tundra Alloy Wheels, found on '04-'06 models PIC
16" 2nd Gen Tacoma "Snowflake" TRD Off Road wheels PIC

FZJ 80 Wheels will NOT fit over 231mm calipers, unless you run at least a 1/4" wheel spacer.

All of these wheels will clear the calipers, according to this thread >>> 16x8 Pro Comp 1059
    16" Procomp 8069
    17" Procomp 8069
    16" Wheeler's Type B

And all of these will clear according to this thread >>>> FJ Crusier Wheels with Tundra Brake Upgrade?? - Page 2 - YotaTech Forums

    You don't want the S13WE they're a lot smaller than the 13WL.

I bought Toyota 3rd Gen TRD Off-Road Wheels to fit. They fit the 13WL and my AISIN Manual Hubs no problem. No spacers required.

I have rubbing at full lock but that's because I run a larger tire (LT265/75R16) than the stock 3rd gen tire which has an aspect ratio of 70 on the stock suspension and height. There is slight rubbing on the UCA and 1.25/75 spacers make the rubbing worse. You don't notice it unless you're making very tight turns. If you ran the stock size tire you most likely won't encounter rubbing.

@mechanicjon made a list or template for which wheels will fit and which ones won't. Didn't he?

They were changed in the middle of the first generation of Tundra because the WE didn't have enough stopping power. That's the reason the WL exists.

I have Method double standards that are 16x8 with 0 offset and 4.5" BS. With the OEM Tundra 13WL Calipers off of an 06 Toyota Tundra. And they don't rub at all. Great stopping power like mentioned above.

So does a 16" rim with your tires fit in the spare tire location? Or is it too big??

You think I would need spacers with the stock tires that came on these rims 265/70R16,

Can you post a photo of the back of the caliber with the hoses?
I need larger rims for this brake swap

I haven't tried putting a spare on yet I still have the original 15" steelie under there.

But 1st gens had the option of using a 16" wheel so I assume it will fit.

    Let me find a pic.
