No the bumper doesn't have to come off. At least with the factory, all you do is need drop it forward a little (you'll see in the video if you watch it). Once you drop it forward a little, you have access to the side 10mm bolt and the rest is easy.

install was pretty easy overall. It took me maybe 1.5 hours to remove everything and re-install everything.

Aiming was easy. It's just a 12mm bolt that you either tighten or loosen to get where you want it

Cool. Thanks for the info. Headlights are probably one of the next things on the list... right after tail lights

So do the OEMASS headlight come with HID w/bulbs? if so, how they project in your point of view? I'm really interested on pulling the trigger with them?

The set I purchased did not come with hid's. I think the protuning website sells them with hid's, but I ordered hid's separately because all I needed were bulbs since I already had the ballasts.

Here is a picture before I did some aiming and adjusting. I have to still take a picture of them after aiming. Right away they were shooting really high so I had to aim them down quite a bit. they are not perfect, but they look good to me

Looks like a great match to me. I think clears are cool, and different. I'm sure you could have them tinted a little if you were so inclined.

Nice lights. Your video editor should be fired. Moreover If I were you, I would post another video of just showing the lights from a camera phone vs using that. I think I had an epileptic fit.

Nice lights though. Good luck on sales. They should go well.

We'll see lol. I may do a real light tint, but I'll wait and see if they grow on me. I do like the clear in the sense that it really shows off everything and the parking lights are super bright this way too

Sorry I haven't been active much on here guys

I normally liked the smoked tail lights on the darker colored cars, but this set does look great on your truck. The Silver Tacomas IMO look great with the clear lens

These lights are made in China

There is a guy that retrofitted Rigid LED pods to be his reverse light on our lights. The light output on that was insane, a little overkill imo but still very cool

Well, I pulled the trigger on mine yesterday. I bought the smoke. May look at rewiring the brake and turn to work together once I check them out.
Heffer, would changing that wiring void the warranty?
Also, has anyone had success using the turn as tail stuff on these lights? Most of what I found was for replacement LED bulbs in stock housing and there were several reports of the system being fussy about it.

If successful let us know. I have been considering this route too

I have purchased the turn as tail kit from diode and have purchased several different ohm resistors. I want to make sure it won't affect the warranty before I even try though.
I was really hoping someone was going to tell me they did it and it was super easy lol

I have all the stuff as well as I was planning to do it with the oem tails before purchasing these winjet ones

I saw your posts in that thread. You were one of the ones I was hoping had already done it.

If heffer says it won't affect or void the warranty, I may go ahead and see what I can figure out. I have done this type of stuff in the past without issue, but I don't want to void the tail light warranty trying to test this.

If you start hardsplicing into the wiring of the tail light, my guess is all bets are off for warranty. But if you wired up a "T" harness(using OEM connectors) and plug it in inbetween the truck and new lights,... the tails would be un altered. And a great way to try different wiring config's/resistors without butchering anything. My .02
Ps sell me your OEM lights already:)
