Looks solid! Just looks like it would take awhile to take on and off.

I was fiddling around at the other house today and snapped these for you. They suck but, well...

For the roof... I've been looking for a good way to mount these, and I'm settling on some ratchet straps most likely.

For you guys with swing outs. Have you considered mounting the traction boards sideways attached to the side of the jerry can holders? This Is what Im thinking about doing

I’ve been looking at ways to free up space on my prinsu but I made a custom angle bracket for my tred pros. The tred pros have a very deep and exaggerated traction area. So mounting them is a bit of a pain in the ass. But here is where I’ve moved mine. It actually cost me a bit of money to do this but I have another set if anyone is interested.

I welded up this rack based on the maxtrax mounting pins and it seems to be working well so far.

I am finally around to getting to post this. I wanted my recovery trax mounted to my bed rail. I went to Lowes with an idea of what I wanted, but they did not have it. I found exactly what I wanted here:

    http://www.rockler.com/t-slot-bolts-5-16-18-thread-t-slot-bolts

I got the 3 1/2 inch length bolt and ticked up two of these'

    http://www.rockler.com/rockler-easy-to-grip-5-star-knobs-threaded-insert

I figured a few nuts and washers would be all I needed to complete everything. Here it is all laid out:

    20180228_135347.jpg

I then put then loosely mounted the bolts in the bed rail against the cab. I would need to be able to move them around once I figured out the spacing in the holes of the recovery trax. You WILL need some channel locks to hold onto the threaded end of the bolt to tighten down the nut against the bed rail to get is snug. No gib deal as most of the threads will be covered by the recovery trax.

    20180228_135509.jpg

I then drilled the holes in the trax. The model I purchased had nipples where you needed to drill. I also clamped down all four corners of the trax to make sure the holes would like up when they are stacked up.

    20180228_140545.jpg

And here they are on the bedrail. I could not be more happy.....unless I can figure out a way to lock them up.....THAT would make me very happy.

do a few shows with the local club...had to a shovel upgrade...have a "real" shovel for use .. IMG_0350.jpg I used 3/4 Alum angle...1/4 carriage bolts to the rails...drill the angle and used their mounting kit..... a little pricey but a nice set up and ez to lock.

I got some maxsa escapr buddies and was wondering how some would mount onto the prinsu rack with a lock?

There is a prinsu thread “how to” tagged in here on the last page I think. If you wanted to roll around with them locked up I’d get some aircraft cable and make your one little bike like of sorts. Otherwise leave them home till you’re heading out to wheel.

What cap is that? And is all the cable storage on the sides standard with it? Looks like exactly what I’m looking for.
