Lol- Everybody needs to start somewhere.

My philosophy about woodworking is similar to the Lynyrd Skynyrd song:

I know a little 'bout it

And baby I can guess the rest...

    All in good fun, brother.

I wouldnt go too much of a coarse sandpaper if/when you go that route. maybe start light sanding at 400grit and go up higher after that...anything lower grit I would worry about scratches from the sandpaper showing up in the stain or finish. Im not a pro by any means but you can get some deep scratches in wood easily that show up in the finish. electric palm sander may leave swirl marks FYI...light/finesse sanding is the key IMO.

Im pretty sure im going to get that harbor freight disc/belt sander. I got a sale book for $59.99 plus a 20% discount coupon so I cant pass that up if they honor that on the already sale item.;) I'll still buy at $59.99

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Need more pics. Pic of the back...the inside. Also, look for a makers mark somewhere; in the drawers, under the top, the bottom...etc

I might be able to salvage one of the end grain cutting boards I was working on. The pieces are slightly out of square but maybe with the sander I can fix it to work

Have any if you made resin tables? I'm not experienced in woodworking but I'd like to make a coffee table and a matching dinning table for a new house I just bought if any of you recommend something. I can get live edge oak and pine

What kind are these using to marry two pieces of wood together? Would it be strong enough to hold a table together? How do or what are people using to polish it.

Awesome thank you ill check his youtube, I was going to do two reverse edges and use a colored resin to marry the middle together. Figured besides squaring it up it wouldn't be to hard to do.

You guys ever done anything with dying west system epoxy? I know some latex paints can be used in small doses. As well as the west system dyes. But neither leaves the epoxy clear after, more of a milky colour.
