    Death Valley 2018: Day 4
You Don't See This Every Day

... around 1:00am, the wind got significantly colder, and we started
to feel moisture in the air. We didn't realize it at the time as
we zipped up the remaining windows, but the moisture we were feeling was snow...

So yeah - we went to Death Valley to escape the cold, and we got snowed on.

You don't see that every day.

The next time one of you drove your truck will you crawl under it, right after driving it across town or something, and see if the drive shaft is warm to the touch, not burn your fingers off hot, on both sides of carrier bearing?
    Please and thank you.

How’s much did they charge for the center bearing? If they charged them out seperately.

Just buy a new CB. Unless you are a mechanic, throwing parts at it is your best bet :D

I did this morning, so far so goodish, besides the warmth that shows up right by the bearing. Its a constant heat, it doesn't get hotter and hotter the farther its driven, just stays warm.

Not really, I actually used a torque wrench today. Maybe there's nothing actually wrong and I'm just paranoid.

I have to drive 150ish miles later today so I guess Ill know for sure.

I had the same problem with hawk pads from the start, I tried removing the glaze and re doing the bedding procedure, nothing worked. Swapped to ebc and have been extremely happy.

Post up on Facebook if you have it. I’m sure someone will know someone who has a cousin that has some parts.

    Bigger audience.

My cheap eBay fendors fit pretty good, but you’ll have to paint it.

2.5” Spacers & DTA struts in Front. Add a leaf in Rear. 33x10.50r15 Dick Cepek Extreme Country LED pods in tool box
Here is my very first post on TW. I have been a fan of TW for a while so I finally made an account.

IMG_0195.jpg IMG_0194.jpg IMG_0196.jpg IMG_0197.jpg Saturday I received my 33x10.50r15's in the mail. I got them mounted and balanced Saturday. Today I wired and installed 2 flush mount LED pods on the back of my tool box. I still need to do a little trimming on the lower valence of my bumper but I still drive it.
