I tried over the weekend and this morning. I updated the handheld at 7:30AM and tried to get the download from my truck. it failed. probably not unexpected as it was a weekend but just keeping you up to date.

    Okay, received a response
(note, this is for the initial ECU versions I added in last week. I wanted to get to the bottom of that before starting to move forward with more)
according to them it is now in the update.

ECU users with 04801 and YWG3900, could you update please?

Once these are confirmed good and recognizing I'll add in everything else.

I’m curious why no one has given one review of this tuning device? I know there are some people having trouble uploading but it’s not everyone... Seems strange

I think this has been the only review. Supercharged and was OVtune's dyno test subject.

we didn't sell very many handhelds. just a very small batch and we're working on the ECU recognition / support before moving any further forward.

Can you tune for increased MPG and more torque in the 1000rpm-2000rpm range. And also delete the secondary air injection system software? Sorry if this has all been answered, this is a very long thread.

Hey Mat @OVTune...why are there different ECU versions? Is it based on model year and EPA required changes?

    Curious.

tuning 1000-1500 rpm range is very difficult, but 2000 and up yes. increased MPG we have already been working on so yes. Secondary air injection CEL disable / control disable yes

Different years, different requirements, emissions updates, bug updates, update to the tune to fix something, TSB, etc

If this widget works well, it might be for sale not too far in the future.

Yea, the CAN bus portion of the UCON can be turned off if necessary. Someone told me how to do it a while back, but I don’t remember the process. Scott will do it for you through a remote session if you ask, though.
