We can probably split the difference, land somewhere around Lindsey Vonn, and agree on that, at least.

 

But, if McDaniels wants to stay, I'd be cool with it. The Offense wasn't what let the Pats down last night; it was an incredibly porous defense that apparently thought they were playing flag football.

 

She's not bad, but I certainly wouldn't place her in the same category as either Alana or Giselle

 

The 49ers have gained “significant momentum” on a multi-year contract with Jimmy Garoppolo that could get done “in the near future,” NFL media reported Sunday morning.

If a long-term deal is not brokered, the 49ers have roughly four weeks to put the “franchise tag” on him — a window that opens Feb. 20 and closes March 6 — before he would otherwise become a free agent March 16.

Once tagged, the 49ers would have until July 16 to resume long-term contract talks until he’d have to play 2018 under the one-year franchise tender of over $23 million.

“There is work to be done over the next several days, but sources said the optimism coming from the organization has been warranted,” NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport wrote.

I could see it. Jimmy G is a good player, but playing in Tom Brady's shadow means a limited number of snaps, so he hasn't really had an opportunity to show it to anybody. If they build an offense around him I could see the 49ers as a very serious contender in a year or three.

Look at it this way: How many players have the Patriots cycled through since Brady/Belichick arrived in NE and started winning championships and setting records?
If there really is widespread cheating involved in the organization, why haven't ANY of those players written (or had somebody else write) a tell-all book about it? As much as most of the country hates the Patriots, it'd probably be a best seller. Be an easy way for an ex-football star who felt stiffed by the Patriots not wanting to renew a contract to get some sweet revenge.
